White Turmeric (Curcuma zedoaria)

White Turmeric, or Zedoary, is native to South Asia. It is used as a spice and in traditional medicine, with a slightly bitter taste.

Prefers moist, well-drained soil and partial shade. Regular watering is necessary. Harvest rhizomes when the leaves die back.
